Brain Retain Review: The Most Ridiculously Overpriced, Yet Effective Superdrug

Brain Retain a nootropic by Starr Walker, seems to follow the alternative path of powdered brain enhancing supplements, rather than the pill or capsule norm. Don’t think of them any less for that, though, powdered drink formulas usually take effect much quicker than pills and capsules, and with over 30 years of background into this product, many other nootropics should watch out.

Don’t let the name fool you, though, this isn’t just a drug for older people, since a look at their website shows you the ingredients that they’re using. They’re following the tested and proven formula for nootropic supplements, but unfortunately, you won’t be able to tell in what dosages their ingredients come in, just from their website.

This isn’t something we’re normally fond of, since we like to see the ingredients in the Supplement Facts before we usually order something, but we found great reviews on the product online, so we weren’t able to resist. Typically, when the ingredients aren’t shown online, it often means that they might have something to hide – a very effective formula or cheap ingredients. This might be true for Brain Retain, but their ingredients are of high quality, probably suggesting that it was the former reason to why they did not include it.

You’ll probably have to wait for the bottle to come in the mail before you’ll find anything, but we can tell you that their ingredients are top-notch, natural, and although they are found in almost every other nootropic out there, the formulation they use works.

They’re very legit as well, in that they cite many resources where they base their claims from. We’ve checked these sources – we can tell you that Brain Retain is very thorough, and unlike many other nootropics, they are able to support their claims.

Interestingly, just because Brain Retain comes in a form of a scoop, and contains 43 grams per scoop versus the 750mg average for a pill, does not mean that it is any more potent. However, it is a potent mix though. It contains all of the ingredients       found in the best nootropics out there, like N-Acetyl-Cysteine, Acetly-L-Carnitine, Phosphatidylserine, and even CQ10 – something not found in many nootropics.

You’ll see us often complaining about many nootropics that stuff their pill with many different vitamins and ingredients as filler, and you’ll know that we despise nootropics that do that. In a 750mg pill, putting way too many ingredients causes a decrease in potency to all ingredients. However, in a 43 gram scoop, there is much room for allowance, and you’ll see that they’ve effectively been able to include multivitamins, as well as important nutrients that are beneficial to the body. Bodybuilders might like the fact that it has 19 grams of protein as well.

This is a superdrug done right, but it comes with a very steep price as well. At $85, it only lasts for 15 days, meaning that you’ll need to dish out around $170 for a month’s supply. Perhaps it would be cheaper to buy a top nootropic and compliment it with other multivitamins instead.

The Results:

Through our testing, we found that Brain Retain seems to be amazing. Although it was kind of expensive to supply $340 for two months’ supply for each of us here at, it did wonders for us. We really noticed the increased focus, fantastic memory recall, and the mental clarity that we experienced due to Brain Retain, and the low daily dosage was really good as well. Aside from just brain enhancements, many of us benefited from greater gains from the gym as well due to it containing a substantial amount of protein.

Our readers loved this supplement due to it being an all-encompassing nootropic that actually was effective at including everything that it could.

However, as stated earlier, $170 for a months’ supply is an incredibly steep price to pay.

This is one of the very few occasions where filling as many ingredients into a product actually worked. In fact, it might just be the best jack-of-all-trades supplement out there. Just looking at its Supplement Facts table, you’ll be able to see why we and our readers loved it so much. The fact remains that this isn’t the best nootropic out there in overall brain-enhancing properties, but we did notice a humungous boost in learning capabilities, over all the other nootropic effects. The fact that it contains many different vitamins and nutrients and do so in generous amounts should attract many people. However, the fact remains that it is still $170 a month, and with Smart Pill being only $33, and NITROvit at $57, you can’t ignore the fact that it might just be ridiculously overpriced.
